The 2.5L 5-cyl VW engine is probably the most reliable motor VW has ever made. These things go forever without any major issues. This car was used as my company vehicle as a project manager and has mostly highway miles driving to/from jobsites. We have an in-house garage responsible for all maintenance and the oil changed on schedule every 5k miles like clockwork. If you're looking for a perfect exterior then it will need a few hours of PDR and touch ups I'd guess, but I think it looks fine.
