Up for auction my Mercedes CLA250. I've owned the car for almost four years, and it was my daily driver for about two and a half until I bought my Boxster S.  At this point is was primarily a second car. Just recently my wife took it shopping and while in the parking lot looking for a space, it just shut off. The car was towed home and I found that the engine had seized. I have noidea why, the oil looks goods, plenty of coolant, no signs of overheating. I have no time and money to put into it, so it is up for auction. I was actually looking at buying a complete salvage CLA just for the engine and they are selling for quite a bit more than my reserve which is about what I owe on the car. Remember these are totaled salvage vehicles, mine is clean.I really hate to get rid of it, I was just about to give it to my daughter for her first car.There are some minor issues other than a blown engine and who knows it may not be blown.The sunroof sunshade is jammed, this just happen over the summer.The header panel above the windshield is faded and could use a clear coat.The wheels have some rash and the tires are about due for replacement.And of course I only have one key.
