It has a Massachusetts REBUILT title and has been my 3-season daily driver for the past ~3 years. I purchased it in June 2016 from a dealer in San Diego that had repaired the vehicle and obtained a CA Rebuilt title. I have personally completed all factory-specified maintenance, using only OEM/Genuine Porsche parts. Over the course of my ownership I retrofitted the following:Tinted Taillights with Clear Center Element (this is factory option “XXR”)Storage Compartment Lid in Alcantara with Porsche Crest (this is factory option “XLJ”)SportDesign Steering Wheel in Leather. This is the SportDesign multifunction steering wheel w/ paddle shifters from the 718/991.2 generation Cayman/Boxster/911. The steering wheel buttons and paddle shifters have full functionality. The steering wheel is in new condition (please see picture for close-up of leather).Twin Exhaust Tips from the 981 Cayman SThe interior is in excellent condition less minimal wear and tear from normal use, e.g. on seats and door entry guards. There is slight upward warping of the interior door panels due to age—a common issue (google “Porsche 981 door warp”). The exterior is in very good condition with no dents or dings, less normal wear from age and highway driving, e.g. small rock chips on front bumper, wearing of factory UV coating on headlights. Two rims have a difficult-to-notice/photograph partial discoloration to them, seemingly a worn clearcoat.Upcoming maintenance items of note:The installed tires (Continental ExtremeContact Sports) are rated for 30k miles, which will be due for replacement at 56,000 miles. As is typical with Porsches the fronts will wear down in line with the treadwear rating but the rears will likely be usable for a while longer. YMMV.I have not had to do any brake work. Included with the purchase of the vehicle is a full set of new Genuine Porsche brake pads, worth around $300 (I had purchased these but never used them). Parts #s 981-351-939-00 and 987-352-939-01.Per Porsche specifications I have performed an oil change every 10k miles however I had performed an extra change upon purchase of the vehicle, so the current 10k interval will not be up until 54k miles.Additional items of note:The dealer I purchased the vehicle from had purchased it from an IAAI insurance auction. The vehicle had sustained damage to its driver-side quarter panel (cosmetic only - no frame/structural damage), which the dealer replaced.
