Price: US $6,850.00 SOLD OUT
Last July (2017), my insurance company (Progressive) decided that my sand storm damage claim was just a bit too much for them and they decided to "Total-out" the vehicle. They gave me a nice check for the damage and let me keep the vehicle. I put $250 of that money into a clay-bar rub, polish, and wax. The car looks great minus some glass pitting, minute paint chips, and some plastic fading. This vehicle has not been in an accident, car crash, or other mishap. Sand damage is the reason for the "Total Loss" . My uncle just gave me a 1979 Bronco with a rebuilt 400 and I want to fix it up. I'm selling the ML so that my wife doesn't complain too much about my growing collection of cars, trucks, and trailers. The California title on this ML was never converted to a salvage title, so it is technically still " clear" and is currently in " Non-Op" status. If you are a California buyer, you must convert the title to "Salvage". This vehicle auction may be ended at any time due to it being locally advertised for sale as well. Vehicle sold in "as-is, where-is" condition. 209,000 miles on a very well maintained Mercedes Diesel SUV. 25 mpg average city and hwy driving with the best mileage from Las Vegas to Palm Springs 31.4 mpg. Brake pads, rotors, and fluid recently bled and replaced at 194,000 miles. New front and rear struts at 183,000 miles. Vehicle has normal interior, exterior, and mechanical wear and tear. Tires are in good condition with approximately 15,000 to 20,000 miles of tread wear left according to tire dealer. Known problems: 1. one boot of the steering rack is torn - replacement is recommended by dealer ($198) . 2. Rear stabilizer bar bushings are worn - replacement is recommended by dealer ( I purchased the entire assembly and am including it) 3. Intake turbo seal ($35) is leaking a very small amount of oil as is common with this motor. Replacement is a 45 minute job. 4. Vehicle could use a full detail and waxing. 5. Small 2 inch tear on driver seat cover. This Mercedes will drive anywhere in the country. It's smooth and quiet besides the occasional sound from the sway bar bushings.
