For sale is a 2013 Volkswagen GTI. This is a four-door automatic car with approximately 50,000 miles. We are the second owners and have been using it primarily for city driving in Brooklyn. The car is in great condition overall with a few cosmetic scratches from its life as a baby-wagon in New York. This car comes with a moon roof as well as the VW Direct-shift Gearbox (DSG). This is an automatic gearbox that can be switched over to "manual mode" where you can select gears with paddles on the steering wheel. This is pretty fun and a good way to pass people on the highway or make sure you get to soccer practice on time. In day to day driving the GTI is pretty tame and gets great gas mileage. Driven aggressively... this thing is incredible—or so I've heard. The suspension is excellent, and in combination with the well-bolstered seats offers excellent handling characteristics on curvy roads. Click here to see a comprehensive list of this car's options. Exterior: The exterior is not flawless, but there is no rust or significant dents. Please view the provided photos to see the scratches and scuffs. These are mainly on the rear bumper, although there are some on the front fenders, front-right door, as well as a small (penny sized) dent on the front left fender. Apart from the dent, these are all surface level scratches that can be addressed with a little TLC. The front wheels and rear right wheel have noticeable curb rash, please see the photos. In general, the paint is in great condition. Interior: The interior is in great condition with a few little issues. There is a scratch in the plastic of the center console by the shift knob (see photo). The driver window switch is a little sticky and occasionally it is hard to get the window to come back up. We have had the car a while and this has not been a significant issue. The "down" switch on the four way selector on the right side of the steering wheel does not work. We haven't had this looked at but it hasn't caused us any trouble. Mechanical: This car has had all of its regularly scheduled maintenance and oil changes.
