Vehicle Details 2017 Thor Compass / Gemini 24TX (2016 Mercedes Sprinter chassis which is built by Thor as a 2017 Compass 24TX model/trim) RV is titled correctly as a MY2017 Thor Compass 24TX and I’m only noting the practice by RV manufacturers that use chassis from the previous MY in their builds. Exterior 2017 Thor Compass / Gemini 24TX (Mercedes Sprinter 3500 2016 Chassis Turbo Diesel V6). Nicely equipped with outdoor entertainment TV / radio + two more TVs inside. HWH Hydraulic Leveling System, Victron Energy 890W Solar System and 3000KvA inverter with 558Ah of LiFePO4 batteries are the largest add-ons, to complement the factory ONAN propane generator and AC/DC/LP refrigerator/freezer. Had a convection oven/microwave and propane burner stove. Also added a remote start alarm that is GPS and cell enabled, front receiver hitch, and ceramic window tinting for heat rejection on front windows. Exterior was ceramic coated in November. Got back from a month long tour of our national parks as the final voyage of needing to cover by road. Always smoke free and all maintenance was performed at Mercedes/Sprinter dealerships. The RV is highly manuevable and drives like a van. I’ve been able to navigate the largest cities and the smallest parks / roads with ease. The HWH auto-leveling system makes stops extremely easy by just pushing an auto level button. You are able to fully lift all four corners of the RV in the air if needed, along with knowing the system was designed and approved by Mercedes. Solar makes good options to limit needing to run the generator making Harvest Host a perfect option for your in-transit stops.
