2012 BMW M3 CompetitionThis is one of the most sought after color combos, White exterior, red Interior and carbon fiber trim. The exhaust is one of the best sounding exhausts for this car and doesn't have the loud drone that a lot of other exhausts have.SunroofBilstein Shocks and lowering springs ($1,000)Eisenmann Exhaust ($2,800)New Battery (currently using battery tender to keep charged)This car has always had the proper maintenance done to it and almost all of it was done at the dealership. It currently has the winter wheel set on it. If the price goes above $29k, I will throw in the stock exhaust, an extra set of wheels and two new Pirelli rear tires.The rod bearings will need replaced on this car. It starts just fine, but it started to develop a knock and it hasn't been driven since. It was diagnosed by the BMW dealership and then it was transported back home, but not driven. It is possible for it to be driven, but I wouldn't recommend driving it regularly. When it was diagnosed, since the knock has just started, they said the engine doesn't need to be replaced, but the bearings will need to be replaced to prevent damaging the crankshaft. This is about a $2k-$4k job depending on parts and labor. If you do the job yourself, the parts can be bought for around $700. A couple of places I called could get the car in, in about 3-4 weeks.I'm selling it as-is because there is another car I would like to buy, but need to sell this one first. These lower mileage M3's are going for $36k-$45k and I figured I'd try to sell this for much lower before repairing it. If it doesn't sell quickly, I will get it repaired and relist it.This car is a great car for someone who wants to get an M3 for less than current market value and do the repair themselves or have a shop do it and still save over $5k on getting one with the same miles.
